A Chance…

I was so glad that I was personally being asked by Mr. Aloysius Torres to grab the opportunity of retaking the PhilNITS examination this coming April 26th for free. There were slots offered by PhilNITS Davao since they were able to get sponsors who will pay all the fees for examination. And luckily, I got one. Regina also was offered. There were other students from USeP too who will be taking the exam for free plus a review before the exam at no cost.

I took the exam last October and it was really difficult and I have learned yesterday from Sir Loy that there were only 7 passers in Davao out of 96 takers. And luckily, we had one passer from our university, Rendell who’s eventually scheduled to go to Japan by 3rd week of May and work there as a software engineer.

I scored 547 in the morning exam (which is basically about fundamental IT knowledge and concepts) and 595 in the PM (programming). Now, I am more motivated to do better in the exam having been given one more chance and get more than 600 this time in order to say こんにちは JAPAN! Really best luck!
