“Pa e-load ko 30.” Dayun ug text 20 sa 258… sthwinggg… unli na… hahahaha

I was 1st year high school student when I got my first cellphone… The unit was Nokia 5110i which my parents bought for almost PhP 6,000… That time, kung naa ka ana nga cellphone, sikat na ka…hahaha agree? (which now, I believe, you could no longer see and buy these units on cellphone store centers) I remember the smallest denomination I could usually load into my account that time was PhP 250.00 … Yea.. big money already… And that load would be consumed in merely 3-5 days only… But it’s not that time that I could already say that I’m a text addict since I’m still a newbie on those stuff.. I hardly even recognized textmates that time… Almost a year later, my father gave me another unit which was Nokia 3315 which you could still see them in the market nowadays. It’s on that time when I started gaining friends through text… Well, I’ve got already a bunch of textmates that time. As far as I remember, I was still a Globe subscriber that time since there’s no Smart cell site yet in our place, and my load, PhP 250 was just a 2-day spending… hahaha since unlimited texting wasn’t still being introduced into the public that time. Well, I could say, I was already a lil bit text addict that time…hehehe But I wasn’t into meeting with those textmates since I was still afraid. Not until I reached my third year level in high school. My cp that time was Nokia 2100, I had already two sim packs, a Globe and a Talk N’ Text sim. It was on this time, when I got boyfriends over the text… hahaha Yes, I got in those fool stuffs… Texting with these people, exchanging sweet nothings as if they’re really real… indeed, I was just… yes, wasting money… 6 months later, since there’s really a fast innovation in cellphones that moment, I’ve got my first-ever GPRS and MMS-capable and Polyphonic cellphone, Nokia 6100. My Globe sim was damaged and couldn’t be used already, so I bought a Touch Mobile (TM) sim which later on, introduced Call and Text Unlimited which really made me more text addict and even made me a call addict.. ahahah For PhP 150 my account could be used for unlimited Call and Text for 15 days (TM to TM subscriber only). Sleepless nights… Time to time charging of cellphone… Etc. All things a text addict has to experience when a person was into unlimited text and call. Just 3 months later I guess, such promo has just came to an end, though unlimited texting was still being promoted. But I bought my *Smart sim after then… And that moment, owned my first-ever camera phone, Nokia 3220… I realized later that Smart network is better than any networks, aside from its good services, I could communicate with a lot people since it has more subscribers than the other networks… (which actually means, more textmates!!! Ahahaha) Until now, I’m using my first-ever Smart sim and enjoying its unlimited texting which was started just weeks after I bought a Smart sim. And right now, I own 2 cellphones, I own my first Samsung cellphone, SGH-X680 unit, added features: clearer captured picture and video, MP3, Bluetooth and JAVA capable and EDGE-capable which is better than GPRS, etc. I already have 4 sims, Globe, TM, Smart and Sun. I’m using Sun sim sometimes because of its Unlimited Call service… hahaha These other sims aside from Smart are sometimes inserted on my other cellphone, Nokia 6170.

For me, actually, whatever the features my cellphones have or what kind of cellphone I’ve got for as long as, it is practical, handy, and most importantly, useful and effective, even it belongs to the 1st generation cellphones, it would just be fine with me… hehehe What’s really important, it could help me to communicate and keep in touch with my loved ones… since I believe, cellphones were invented for communication thus, used them for communication. I don’t really agree to some people who say cellphones are no good investments and that, just a waste of money. They are just definitely wrong, because indeed, I strongly believe that there are many advantages these cellphones could bring to us… and these advantages are worth paying for… But I’m not really saying that you should own a cellphone… what I’m actually saying is… to own such stuff is to gain and exceed one point over the other person who doesn’t have one…

Right now, I’m looking forward to own my first ever 3G cellphone…hahahaha just kidding… (But anticipating…hehe) yeah, as I’ve said, the type of cellphone is not really significant to me… All I really need and want is a better tool for communication…

So, keep in touch little souls…
